The Pros

The Takagi T-D2-OS-NG is an Outdoor Natural Gas tankless water heater that is capable of producing up to 10.0 Gallons per Minute which is perfect for large homes. This particular unit by Takagi is Energy Star Certified and comes standard with a TM-RE30 remote which is a great bonus.

The Cons

While the Takagi T-D2-OS-NG is ideal for large homes, it may be more than enough continuous hot water output than necessary for most homes. If you have a smaller home or do not require much hot water usage than there are some smaller more inexpensive tankless water heaters to choose from.


The Takagi T-D2-OS-NG is energy efficient, affordable and has a great hot water output. This tankless water heater comes standard with tons of great bells and whistles and is an overall great value. Based on the information I have gathered, I would definitely recommend this unit.
